Integration of ISIX RED CUBE ECM into an existing infrastructure.

• Initial situation.

An existing archive is to be replaced by the higher-performance ISIX RED CUBE ECM, whereas complete migration of the data will be postponed to a later stage. Challenge: During the first stage, the existing infrastructure should continue to be fully operable.

• Analysis and measures.

The current situation is analysed extensively. Common goals are defined, and ISIX presents an implementation concept and a timeframe.

• Implementation.

ISIX Retrieval is a comprehensive web application that allows simultaneous data retrieval in existing archives and in the new ECM. To ensure consistent data retrieval and presentation, ISIX Retrieval is established in phase 1. In phase 2, the import channels (data supply systems) of the old archive are progressively converted to the new one in the background.

• Result.

The users of the archive work with a single comfortable surface for data retrieval, presentation and administration. This allows companies to replace existing archives gradually during full business operations regardless of time or cost pressure and without any risks.
